Academy Status

Under the Academies Act 2010 the School converted to academy status on 1 July 2011 and exists legally as a company called Tiffin School (registered in England and Wales, number 07547311) that has exempt charitable status. The decision to convert from a maintained school with voluntary aided status to an academy was taken after careful consideration by the governing body at the time and followed consultation with all stakeholders including, parents, employees, students, alumni, and local residents.

Executive Pay

(Number of staff whose total benefits exceed £100,000 per annum)
Full details of Executive Pay can be found in note 8c of the Annual Report and Financial Statements. In addition to disclosing this in our audited accounts we are also required to disclose on our website, in bandings of £10,000, the number of staff whose salary and other taxable benefits exceed £100,000 per annum. For the year ending August 2025 the number of staff this applies to was as follows:
