Leavers' Destinations

In terms of outcomes, the school has an enviable reputation, built upon many years of experience and success. It is extremely important to us that students consider all of their options before making decisions and this is reflected in the variety of destinations we see, including students taking gap years to build more experience before embarking upon their next step.

The overwhelming majority of our Sixth Form students move on to leading Higher Education institutions in the UK, including over 30 per year to Oxbridge. Our students are also successful in securing places on competitive school leaver programmes, with recent leavers joining the Amazon Degree Apprenticeship, IBM Future Placement Scheme and BAM Nuttall’s Civil Engineering Degree Apprenticeship. Students occasionally apply to Universities outside of the UK, with two students moving on to study in the USA this year at Princeton, an Ivy League university.
