About us

Welcome from the Head

Welcome to Tiffin School, one of the UK’s leading State Grammar Schools.

At the heart of what makes Tiffin special is the strong sense of community. Although a large school of nearly 1500 students, we maintain a family feel in which students are valued as individuals and have a strong sense of belonging to their form, house, year group and the school. Academic standards are very high, and yet we celebrate so much more than just results. Students engage in learning outside the classroom through a vast number of clubs and societies. The co-curricular depth and breadth is unmatched for a state school, and all this is made possible through a highly motivated and committed staff body. We now welcome girls in the Sixth Form, helping make Tiffin a diverse and vibrant community in which students thrive and maintain a strong attachment to the school for the rest of their lives.

I hope this website gives you some insight into what makes Tiffin an exceptional school.
