“Fantastic, a 10/10 evenings entertainment. great accents, great dancing, even greater moustaches”
At the end of last half-term, a cast, production team and dance troupe of entirely Year 12s & 13s entertained sell-out audiences across four nights with this year’s Sixth Form Production, ‘Jack Absolute Flies Again’. With the show put together in just four weeks, it was testament to the involved student’s diligence and hard work, that the play was such a success. Mr Moodie, Miss Kluver and Mrs Brittain were incredibly proud of the students, who had audiences laughing and remarking about the quality rivalling the original West End version!
Audiences were able to leave reviews for the show, and some reviews can be read below:
- Absolutely brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the humour, and definitely created many memorable laughs throughout. 5 out of 5 stars.
- Fantastic, a 10/10 evenings entertainment. great accents, great dancing, even greater moustaches.
- A brilliant show, very funny and acted/danced superbly with such great energy from everyone. Great set also and fun audience participation! A wonderful evening.
- I am blown away – my son is not someone who does drama and that kind of thing but the show was absolutely unbelievable. The cast the set the dancers the lights, I had no idea the school produces school plays like this, I hope to see him get involved in the future!
- I came on the closing night and the energy and passion from the students was remarkable. They had me in absolute stitches and their words at the end thanking the staff involved spoke not only to their own character, but to the team and community the production evidently built.
