It has been another busy and successful week of summer sport, with midweek fixtures for most teams alongside a near full weekend block against Reading Blue Coat School.
The girls’ rugby team played their final fixture of the season on Friday afternoon away at Campion School. Fielding an all-Year 12 side, the girls produced an excellent performance to secure a 21–14 victory. Daisy, Chloe and Mali were the standout performers in a fantastic way to conclude the season.
The 1st XI produced a high-quality all-round team performance in their win over Reading Blue Coat on Saturday. Captain Kajus won the toss, elected to bat and led from the front with an excellent 62. Useful contributions from Zayan (31) and Zaky (32) helped Tiffin reach 200. In response, disciplined bowling and sharp fielding restricted the opposition to 168, sealing a 32-run victory. Ishaan P was the standout bowler with impressive figures of 2–12.
On Friday evening, the 2nd XI hosted Ibstock Place School at Grist’s in an entertaining T20 contest. Tiffin restricted Ibstock to 150 thanks to tight bowling from captain Rachit and Haniish. In reply, the side looked in complete control at 95–1 after 11 overs, with Raghav and Arjun K batting fluently. However, a sudden collapse saw the game swing back into the balance. With one run needed from the final ball, Jasmine calmly struck a superb straight drive past the bowler to secure a memorable victory.

The U15Bs continued their excellent season with another convincing win, defeating Reading Blue Coat by 40 runs. Daniel R scored an excellent 50 as Tiffin posted 150. He then completed a superb all-round performance by taking a five-wicket haul, bowling the opposition out for 110 inside 14 overs.

Alongside him, Nirmay continued his outstanding start to the summer with 73* as the side posted 207. Rutlish were then bowled out for 74, completing a dominant cup victory.

The U13Bs recorded victories over both Reading Blue Coat and Emmanuel in very similar fashion, bowling the opposition out cheaply before chasing the targets comfortably. Advaith starred again with another four-wicket haul, while Reyansh and Oscar also impressed.

The U13Cs also enjoyed two victories, with standout performances from Rivan B, who claimed five wickets across the games, and Aariz, who top-scored for the side.
