The final week of football fixtures brought a full Saturday programme and the beginning of National 7s week, providing a fitting and action-packed conclusion to the season for many of our teams.

The 1st XI took on the Old Tiffinians at Grist’s Sports Ground on a sunny Saturday afternoon and continued their excellent form with a comfortable victory. Their impressive unbeaten run will now be put to the test as they head to Barcelona later this week.

The 3rd XI were involved in a closely contested match against St John’s School Leatherhead, narrowly losing to a late goal. It was, nevertheless, a spirited and determined performance.

The 4th XI rounded off their season in thrilling fashion with an exciting 5–4 victory away at Leatherhead, showcasing attacking flair and resilience.

The U15Cs enjoyed a strong finish to their season with a 5–0 home win over St John’s School Leatherhead. Jonas was the standout player, scoring a couple of excellent goals from defence in an impressive all-round display.

The U14As capped off a fine season with a convincing 4–0 win over Ewell Castle School. It was a strong team performance, with contributions across the pitch.

The U14Cs also delivered an excellent display, securing a 4–1 victory, with Imad standing out.

Meanwhile, the U14 7s squad competed at the prestigious Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens on Monday. It was a fantastic experience for the boys to compete on a national stage, highlighted by a great win against Teignmouth. They also faced a strong Sedbergh School side, providing a valuable learning opportunity. Noah P was the standout performer across the day.

Both the U13Cs and U12Cs finished their seasons on a high with excellent home victories, rounding off a successful campaign with strong performances.

A fitting end to the football season, with excellent results, memorable performances and valuable experiences across all age groups. Well done to all players for their commitment and effort throughout the term.
