Over the weekend we enjoyed our first full block of fixtures of the term taking on Wimbledon College. During the week, each age group were scheduled to face KCS Wimbledon in a busy and competitive programme of sport, but the rain unfortunately curtailed some of those fixtures.
The girls’ rugby team had a successful tour to Nottingham, winning two of their four fixtures, before returning to school action this week with another strong performance. They secured a well-fought 33–14 victory over SJWMS, with Leah C producing an outstanding display.
The 1XI claimed a narrow but deserved victory away at Wimbledon College in a closely contested match. James M made a crucial late penalty save to preserve the lead, while Louis E was the standout performer on the day.
The 2XI recorded their first win of the season in a thrilling 4–3 victory at Wimbledon College. Nyill (Year 11) and Kripa both scored twice, with Felix (Year 11) earning plaudits for his tireless work in midfield.
Midweek, the seconds followed this up with a hard-fought 2–2 draw against KCS Wimbledon, with Gabriel C scoring both goals and Leo delivering an excellent performance in goal.

The U15As played their first game of the season, narrowly losing 5–3. Despite the result, it was a promising display full of spirit, with Jacob A and Ethan B standing out.
The U14Bs enjoyed a comfortable 4–0 win away at Wimbledon College, with Adi L producing a particularly impressive performance.
The U13Bs continued their strong form with a 3–1 victory at Grists, where Nabil was deservedly named Man of the Match.
A busy and encouraging week across all age groups, with strong performances, growing confidence and plenty of positives to take forward as the term gathers momentum.
