It’s been a busy and inspiring term for our Mental Health Ambassadors (MHAs), who have continued to champion wellbeing across the school.

Hello Yellow – Friday 10th October

To mark YOUNGMINDS Hello Yellow, our whole school community came together in a show of support, with students and staff wearing an item of yellow to raise awareness of young people’s mental health.

Our MHAs also baked cakes for staff, who kindly donated to the charity — a big thank you to everyone who contributed.

Welcoming Our New Year 9 Mental Health Ambassadors

We are delighted to welcome our newest team members:
Max L, Nathan C, Sunny P, Shriansh M, Benjamin P, Anahat M and Faiz B

Their enthusiasm, ideas and commitment to promoting positive mental health and challenging stigma are already making an impact, and they are excitedly planning for January.

Movember: Spreading an Important Message

As part of Movember, the MHAs delivered assemblies across key Stage 3&4, emphasising the vital message of talking openly about your health — both physical and mental.

They also ran a scavenger hunt and an art competition to encourage creative engagement with wellbeing.

Huge congratulations to Alex L. in Year 8, whose thoughtful and insightful artwork earned him first place. Well done Alex! Congratulations to Lucas A in Year 10, our runner up for delivering a real emotive piece of artwork.
