Despite heavy rain wiping out many of our scheduled fixtures this past week, several senior sides still took to the field and delivered strong performances to round off their seasons.

The 1st XV faced a powerful Reigate Grammar side on Saturday, showing good character in challenging conditions. Mikel and Faran both produced strong performances.  On Wednesday, they brought their competitive season to a close with a commanding 30–0 victory over Glynn. The squad controlled the match throughout, and George W capped things off with an impressive try late in the game.

The 2nd XV battled well in difficult weather, falling just short in a narrow defeat. Jeff stood out with an excellent individual performance.

The Girls’ 2nd XV travelled to Maidstone Grammar on Wednesday for a closely contested match against a strong opposition. Despite the tight loss, the team impressed throughout, with Annabel, Bella, and Megan earning special recognition for their efforts.

The U15As produced a superb team display in a narrow loss to a very strong Reigate Grammar side. Athuren was particularly impressive, making several powerful carries that kept Tiffin on the front foot.

The U14As continued their strong finish to what has been a demanding season, securing a well-deserved win at Reigate. Armaan and Noah were standout performers in a disciplined and committed team effort.

The Boys’ XV rugby seasons conclude this weekend, with all year groups competing in the Dave Morris Cup. We look forward to seeing the boys finish the season with pride and determination.

What a term it has been for Tiffin Netball. Three squads, thirteen wins and an astonishing 335 goals mark the conclusion of a highly successful first term. Across 13 Wednesdays, our teams have travelled to 11 different schools, demonstrating commitment, teamwork and superb play throughout the term. We now look ahead to a festive finale next week, which will see our netballers take on the rugby players in a hotly anticipated (and highly competitive!) match. Show them what you’ve got, girls!

A big well done to all athletes this week. Despite challenging weather, the effort, spirit and resilience across all teams continue to make us proud.
