The 1st XV began their week with a fine cup victory over Greycourt School last Wednesday, with Max making a strong impact off the bench. On Saturday, they faced a powerful Wimbledon College side and were narrowly beaten in a close contest. Faran’s performance stood out for his leadership and effort throughout.

The 2nd XV were edged out in a tight game against Wimbledon College, with George W earning recognition as the standout player. The 3rd XV took part in a tournament on Wednesday, competing against Reeds and John Fisher. They recorded a well-deserved win against John Fisher and narrowly lost to Reeds. Mr Latham praised the team’s efforts across the day, with standout recognition going to George D.

It has been a fantastic two weeks for girls’ sports. In netball, our A team enjoyed back-to-back victories with a 33–17 win over Coombe last week followed by a hard-fought 29–24 triumph against Wimbledon High yesterday. The B team showed resilience despite a narrow loss, while the C team secured an excellent 22–14 victory. Stella shone for the As as she returned to her old school in her new Tiffin kit and showed them just what they were missing.

Miss Passco’s Team of the Week goes to the C team, who worked brilliantly together to apply everything they have learned in training with Ms Perkins. You’ve made us super proud.

Our girls’ football team also had their second fixture of the season, taking on Ewell Castle School. Despite a loss, Mr White praised their “tenacious performance” against a very strong opponent. It’s been fantastic to see the team growing in confidence and competing with such spirit.Back to rugby and the 16As fell just short in a close encounter with Wimbledon College, though there were strong performances from Tife and Adam. The 16Bs celebrated their first win of the season, with Shriyans producing a particularly impressive display.The 15Bs continued their excellent form with a convincing 34–10 victory over Wimbledon College. Ishaan stood out for his determined performance and strong contribution to the win.

It was a superb week for the U13s. Last Thursday, the 13As attended the Surrey Festival and won all of their games which was a remarkable achievement that showcased teamwork and skill throughout the squad. This week, the 13Bs defeated Wilson’s in style, with standout performances from Juwon, Otso and Gabriel.

The U12s faced Wimbledon College in three competitive fixtures on Saturday, showing great promise across all matches. On Monday, they took part in the Surrey Festival, gaining valuable experience from a busy day of rugby. Arthur E, Samuel K and Alexandre were the standout players, demonstrating skill and composure throughout.
