Marcus H in Year 12 has received a commendation for his excellent translation that he submitted to the Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators.

Over 22,000 students took part in the competition, which is run by the University of Oxford, so to receive a commendation is an impressive feat. Marcus had to translate an advanced text with specific vocabulary from Spanish into English.

This is a great opportunity for budding linguists and we hope to enter more translations into this competition next year. Very well done!
