The Tiffin U12 and U13 Cricket teams enjoyed a memorable and highly successful tour to Devon, securing four convincing wins across the weekend against strong local opposition. They showcased the talent, spirit and hard work within both squads.

A winning start at the County Ground saw the tour begin spectacularly with a fixture against Exeter, played at the prestigious Devon County Cricket Ground — a real privilege for the boys and a fitting venue to kick off the trip. The team rose to the occasion with composed performances to claim an impressive opening win.

The momentum continued with commanding victories over Kilmington, Chardstock, and Budleigh, as the boys demonstrated excellent teamwork, discipline, and skill with both bat and ball.

Special mentions go to:

  • Jake D, who starred with the ball against Chardstock and took four key wickets in a game-changing spell.
  • In the batting department, Aryan M and Sanmay P both retired after strong innings in the U13s’ win, showing maturity and control at the crease.
  • Against Kilmington, Aatif A and Karthikeyan S also retired unbeaten, anchoring the innings with great composure to set up a dominant team performance.

The tour was not only a showcase of cricketing ability, but also an opportunity for the players to bond as a group and experience playing in new and inspiring settings. The boys represented Tiffin with pride, maturity, and enthusiasm throughout the weekend — a credit to their coaches.

With four wins from four and plenty of standout performances, the Devon tour will be remembered as a highlight of the season.
