Tennis
Tiffin Tennis has kicked off this term with fantastic play by the U18 girls’ team. The season started on Saturday 26th April, with some friendly warm-ups against King’s College Wimbledon and the City of London Freemen’s, making them the first-ever girls’ sports team to represent Tiffin in a weekend fixture!
They also competed in their first competitive matches of the year, in a triple-play at St Catherine’s on Wednesday 30th April. Impressive serves and consistently strong technique from both pairs resulted in an excellent win against Reed’s, a win against St Catherine’s, and a close loss against ACS Cobham. The sunshine made for some extreme Spring conditions!
We look forward to getting into the swing of the Tennis season with the upcoming boy’s fixtures.

Cricket

Meanwhile, both U17A and U14A sides progressed to the next rounds of their respective cup competitions after strong showings. The U17As defeated Westminster U17s, while the U14As saw off Wilson’s School U14s, showcasing depth and confidence across the squads.
The first full block fixture of the term saw 15 matches played against Hampton School, marking a busy and competitive day. Among the standout results, the U14A and U14B teams both secured impressive wins, each claiming victory by 7 wickets, highlighting the strength in the younger age groups.
There was no let-up in momentum on Monday, as the U14A and U14B teams returned to action against Halliford School, backing up their weekend success. The U14As edged a tight contest by 8 runs, while the U14Bs earned a more comfortable 28-run win. Batting contributions were key, with Cooper R, Jude R, and Aarav M all notching well-earned half-centuries, continuing their fine early-season form.
