Rugby Sevens
It was an exciting evening at the Halliford Sevens as the senior Sevens team put on an impressive performance, making it to the 2nd place play-off. After a thrilling day of competition, they faced St. George’s Weybridge in a hard-fought final. Despite their best efforts, the team was narrowly defeated, finishing in a commendable 2nd place. This result has placed them in a strong position heading into next week’s Rosslyn Park Sevens, where the team is confident and eager to continue their strong form.
The girls’ Sevens team had a challenging but valuable experience at the Surrey Sevens on Wednesday. It was a great test for the team, getting all the way to the vase final but coming up short. This experience provided important insights and lessons as they continue to prepare for next week’s Rosslyn Park Sevens. With their focused training and determination, they are poised to compete at a high level.
As we look forward to Rosslyn Park Sevens, all teams are in great shape, and the excitement is building. Keep up the hard work, and let’s bring home some more success next week!
