On Tuesday 21st January we were thrilled to host the renowned Dr. Guy Sutton, who graciously took time from his busy schedule to lead our annual Brain Day for psychology and biology students. This eagerly anticipated event provided a university-level introduction to the captivating world of neuroscience.
Students engaged in hands-on learning by dissecting a lamb’s brain and investigating key regions. They discussed topics such as neurolaw, psychopharmacology, the impact of smart technology and space travel, and the advancements in brain organoid research.
This enriching experience ignited thoughtful discussions and fueled students’ passion for neuroscience. We look forward to further exploring these intriguing topics in our future lessons.
