During the last week of the Autumn Term, 39 Year 11s set off on a trip to Lille in northern France. Main highlights of the trip were visiting the biggest aquarium in Europe in Boulogne sur Mer, and ordering some French specialities at the Lille Christmas market. Students also tested their cookery skills, by participating in a crêpe making activity at the accommodation. A lot of fun was had and the students were able to learn more about French culture as well as practise their French language skills ahead of their exams this year. A great end to the term! With many thanks to Mr Courtin, Mx Bradley, Mr Bamgbaiye and Mr O’Connell for all their help on the trip.
