This week, students and staff came together to celebrate School Diversity Week as part of Pride Month, recognising and celebrating the diversity that makes our school community so special.

Throughout the week, students enjoyed a range of activities designed to promote inclusion, understanding and a sense of belonging. Lunchtime screenings of Dead End: Paranormal Park provided an opportunity to explore themes of identity and acceptance, while the True Colours Art Sessions allowed students to express themselves creatively through colourful artwork and rainbow-themed crafts.

A highlight of the week was the Staff v Students Water Balloon Toss, which brought plenty of laughter and excitement as the school community gathered by the MUGA to enjoy the sunshine, friendly competition and rainbow ice lollies.

The celebrations concluded with Rainbow Friday, when students and staff filled the school with colour by wearing brightly coloured tops in support of diversity and inclusivity. The day also raised funds for Just Like Us, a charity working to make schools safer, happier and more welcoming places for LGBT+ young people.

Thank you to all students, staff and families who supported School Diversity Week. Together, we have celebrated the values of respect, inclusion and belonging that help make our school a welcoming community for everyone.
