On Monday 30th March, our Year 7 students were treated to a fantastic showcase of talent during assembly, featuring performances from the Tiffin Glee Club and Tiffin Dance Company.
The Tiffin Glee Club opened the assembly with an energetic and uplifting performance, demonstrating impressive harmony, confidence, and stage presence. As a group that acts through song, they combined acting, singing, and choreography to bring their performance to life, creating an engaging and dynamic experience for the audience. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and they set a vibrant tone that immediately captured everyone’s attention. The performance also comes at an exciting time for the group, as they prepare for their entry in the final of the Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge Competition, which will take place at the prestigious Shaftesbury Theatre in London’s West End during the Easter half term. It was a wonderful opportunity for Year 7 students to see how music and performance can come together to tell a story and to be inspired by their peers.

Following this, the Tiffin Dance Company delivered a dynamic and captivating group piece. Their performance combined precision, creativity, and expressive movement, highlighting the dedication and teamwork that goes into their rehearsals. The choreography was both powerful and polished, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The assembly not only showcased the exceptional talent within our school but also encouraged younger students to get involved in extracurricular activities. Both groups represented the school with pride and professionalism, leaving Year 7 students inspired and excited about the opportunities available to them.
We would like to congratulate all performers for their hard work and wish the Tiffin Glee Club the very best of luck in their upcoming competition final.
