On Wednesday (11th March) evening the Drama department organised Tiffin’s first ‘Year 10 Performance Showcase’ in the Drama Studio, presenting a bold, stylised version of Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales. This was a first for our Year 10 students, and we hope it will pave the way for future performances and productions as they progress through GCSEs. After months of workshops exploring how Chaucer’s stories can be reimagined for a modern audience, students delivered a programme of verse storytelling with confident character work and inventive staging. The audience response was fantastic, with plenty of laughter throughout the evening, and the students performed with real commitment and maturity, acting as excellent ambassadors for the school. Thank you to all families and staff who came to support (your presence meant a great deal to the cast) and congratulations to the students on a truly successful evening.
