On Sunday 18th January, Y7 student Samuel P, member of our new Tiffin Ski Race Team (his team colleague Benedict W being in action elsewhere), took part in the National School Leagues at The Oakwood in Sandown Esher.
The race format allowed schools to enter individual slalom racers with races split into two age categories: U12 and U16. Each competitor had three runs, with the best time out of three counting towards the competition.
Samuel represented Tiffin School with great pride and demonstrated strong control on a demanding course throughout a highly competitive morning of racing at the slalom event – and it did pay off! Not only did he win the race, but he also achieved the best time across all age groups.
Congratulations to Samuel on a fantastic day on the slopes, and we look forward to seeing more of this new Tiffin Ski Race Team in the future.
