Run Club

This term has seen an outstanding level of dedication from the many Key Stage 3 students who have taken part in our Running Club. Come rain, shine, or the occasional chilly breeze, pupils have turned up each week with enthusiasm, positivity, and a willingness to challenge themselves.

What has been especially admirable is the commitment shown by runners of all abilities. Some joined to build confidence, others to improve fitness, and many simply for the joy of running alongside friends. Whatever their motivation, each student brought energy and determination, creating an encouraging atmosphere where everyone felt supported.

Over the weeks, it has been inspiring to see pupils push their own boundaries—tackling longer distances, learning pacing strategies, and developing resilience. Many have shown remarkable improvement, not only in their running performance but also in teamwork, perseverance, and personal discipline.
