Sunday 16th November marked a first for Tiffin School, with Year 7 students Benedict W and Samuel P forming the new Tiffin Ski Race Team and competing at the Surrey School Ski Championship, held at the Aldershot dry ski centre.

The race format allowed schools to enter individual slalom racers with secondary school races split into two age categories of Years 7-9 and Years 10-13.

Samuel and Benedict represented Tiffin at the championship with pride and distinction, delivering impressive performances throughout a highly competitive day of racing. Both skiers showed excellent form in the slalom event, demonstrating confidence, control, and strong technique on a challenging course.

The day concluded with the always-popular Dual Slalom team race, where individual competitors are mixed into teams with skiers from other schools to create a fast-paced and thrilling finale.

Benedict’s Dual Slalom team rose brilliantly to the challenge, racing with determination and teamwork to secure the secondary school Dual Slalom gold!

Congratulations to Samuel and Benedict for an outstanding day on the slopes creating a memorable moment for Tiffin.
