With another full week of fixtures across multiple sports, Tiffin teams once again demonstrated determination, skill and school spirit in abundance.
The 1st XV faced a tough contest in King’s College Wimbledon on Saturday, but showed plenty of fight throughout. There were several well-earned debuts for Farzad, Harry S, Manav and Zachary, the latter marking the occasion with a try. Max B was named standout player after an impressive all-round performance.
The 2nd XV delivered a convincing win against a strong KCS side, overturning last year’s result in style. Raghav stood out, stepping in superbly at full-back.
This week the A Squad undertook their first ever home match, competing against Saint Cecilia’s. In what turned out to be the quickest, most powerful and most exciting game of Netball we’ve seen in the season so far. The court, and sidelines, were electric. Both teams fought hard with Tiffin taking a well-deserved win of 29-28.

The U16As produced a fantastic 15–7 win over KCS following a hard-fought midweek game. Taym, Faran and Thomas W were standout performers. On Wednesday they faced a strong Glynn side and were narrowly defeated, with Josh S shining.
The U15s defeated Graveney last Thursday to progress in the Bowl competition, with strong performances from Dan C and Jake J. On Saturday, the As put in a determined team effort against a powerful KCS team, with Adam standing out. The Bs secured a tight victory thanks to a late penalty from Eoin.
The U14As produced a much-improved display, holding King’s level for much of the match before the opposition pulled away late on. A determined collective effort. The U14Bs continued their good form with another win, thanks in part to a big performance from Simon V.
Our U14, U13 and U12 Badminton teams all recorded victories against Reed’s last week, continuing an excellent run of performances across the age groups. Special recognition goes to our new Year 7 players, Kavish, Tansh, Mugil, Ishaan, Rayansh and Viren, who represented Tiffin for the first time and impressed on debut.
Five U12 teams travelled to KCS on Friday, with excellent performances across all groups. The As and Es came very close to victory, while the Bs and Ds secured commendable draws. Ethan and Hugo were standout players on the day.
