From 29th September to 3rd October, our Year 13 Geographers visited Devon for the annual A-Level Geography residential trip. We stayed in the very remote Dartmoor YHA, in the centre of the moor. This provided a great opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of key topics, including Water and Carbon Cycles, and Coasts.
The students visited Dawlish Warren and the South Hams coastline, where they learnt about the impacts of sea level change and how communities can sustainably manage our coastlines in the future. Time was also spent on Dartmoor studying the interrelationships between water and carbon cycles.
The trip was a great success! Special thanks to Miss Passco for joining Team Geography.
