The first match of the season saw our athletes travel to Skinners’ Kent — with an unexpected scenic route via Chessington World of Adventures thanks to roadworks!
Our Juniors (U13) ran with determination, with Dylan and Bardy demonstrating excellent teamwork. Christopher, Art, and Benjamin consolidated strong positions, securing the team 6th place in the South East – a very promising start to the season.
The Inters (U15) had an outstanding opening performance. Anas, Max, and Frederic set the pace early on, while Max and Stuarn showed smart, steady progress through the middle stages of the race. Max, bouncing back strongly from injury, achieved our highest individual placing of the day in the top 10. Stuarn produced a brilliant closing run, driving the team forward and helping secure a bronze medal finish overall.
This was a true team effort, with every athlete contributing to the success of the squad. Congratulations to all who ran, trained, and supported – a fantastic foundation for the season ahead.
