Our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh crew of 160 Year 10 students set off bright and early Saturday morning to head to the wilds of West Sussex for their Bronze Expedition with Sam Sykes Ltd, where they mastered the skills of navigating with map and compass, setting up camp, cooking on a camp stove, and ‘sleeping’ 2-3 to a tent, where reportedly not much sleep was had, with the sun and birds rising before 5 am! Using their new skills and showing impressive determination and teamwork, our Tiffin Bronze crew walked more than 40km over the course of the weekend while carrying all their gear and passed the expedition with flying colours!
