This past weekend was a memorable one for the football teams, with a series of standout performances across various age groups. Out of the seven matches played against Dunottar, our teams secured an impressive five wins, showcasing the strength and depth of the squad at all levels.
In another remarkable performance, the U13B team were on fire, securing a commanding 10-0 victory. The scoreline speaks for itself, and the team showed a combination of clinical finishing and excellent movement off the ball.
The U14A team delivered a brilliant performance, securing a well-deserved 3-1 victory. Their control and precision on the ball were evident throughout the match, with standout goals from Ernest, who scored a hat-trick. The team’s composure and teamwork were exceptional.
Midweek football saw more success, with the U18s and U16s both securing wins in their respective matches. The U18s continue to have a fantastic season, with an organized defence and explosive attack leading them to another victory. The U16s also demonstrated their dominance with a great team effort, further adding to their growing reputation as an entertaining team to watch.
Rugby Sevens
The U15 Sevens team also made a strong impression, participating in their first tournament. They finished joint 2nd in their group with 3 wins and 1 draw, showing great promise and determination. Unfortunately, despite their strong showing, they were knocked out in the quarter-finals, but their performances throughout the day were a real positive, giving everyone hope for future success.
The U12s Sevens team participated in their first tournament, and it was fantastic to see their development on full display. They secured 3 wins in their group, showcasing their growing technical skills and understanding of the game. The future looks bright for this young squad, and the experience they gained will undoubtedly help them as they continue to develop.
