On Thursday, Mrs Davis and Mr Braganza took 23 Year 8 students on a STEM trip to the Rose Shure Experience Centre in London.
Shure are the leading manufacturers of audio technology worldwide and built this experience centre to provide the opportunity for customers, partners, and industry professionals to experience the latest audio solutions and innovations through an immersive product experience.
The gentleman who founded Shure in 1925, Sidney Shure, created the iconic Elvis microphone which he used in the 1950s.

During the trip, the students learned more about sound, how Shure make their equipment, and which fields they can enter, should they choose a career in sound engineering etc. An incredibly educational and inspiring trip for all those involved.
The students were also lucky enough to receive a free t-shirt, a pen, and a microphone keyring, due to their incredible behaviour throughout the entirety of the trip, which was praised by the staff at Shure and also members of public.
