Tiffin represented the Kingston Borough cross-country team at the Surrey Schools County Championships this past week. This was a significant event for all attending athletes, with the meet not only being county championships, but also the qualifying round for inter-counties Regional and National English schools. Two-thirds of the Kingston Junior team performing at Reigate Priory were from Tiffin. Despite being a year young for the age group, all performed well. Adrian C kept going strongly, placing in the top half of the Year 8s in the field. Anas B showed why he was one of the most improved athletes of the season, placing in the top third of his peers. Max J looked good, placing in the Year 8 county team for the next match.

The seniors placed 3rd, again showing the strength of the Tiffin senior squad. Atharv P finished in the top 10, with Pancho P two places behind. Marcus looked strong, especially in the latter stages, building on a solid start from Josh A. Andrew T, along with new finds Omar T and Luke H, completed a great Kingston performance. Earlier in the day, Bardy W had a great debut for the Borough, as did Sophie B, who spearheaded the Kingston Senior Ladies team alongside Sophie P and emerging star Elena K.

Well done to all who represented the Royal Borough!
