Borough Champs
The recent Borough Cross Country Event, held at Grist’s, was a thrilling display of athleticism, resilience, and teamwork. Our cross country teams, representing Tiffin, delivered some truly exceptional performances, with numerous athletes securing spots for the next round of competition. The event saw fierce competition, but our athletes rose to the challenge, finishing strong in their respective races.

A highlight of the day was the remarkable success of our athletes who have now qualified for the next round of the borough competition. Many of our runners put in standout performances, ensuring their places in the next stage. These qualifications speak volumes about the hard work, dedication, and skill our athletes have demonstrated this season, and we can’t wait to see how they perform in the upcoming events.

Special mention must go to several athletes who put in standout performances and achieved remarkable results. Sophie B and Atharv P were dominant in their respective Senior races, with both claiming victory in their categories. Sophie topped the Senior Girls’ race with a powerful performance, while Atharv clinched first place in the Senior Boys’ race, both demonstrating excellent strategy and endurance throughout the course.

Bardy W also had a fantastic race, finishing second in the Year 7 boys’ race. His strong pace and determination made him a standout competitor, and his achievement is a testament to the promising talent coming through Tiffin’s cross country program. Additionally, Rowan N and Pancho P earned a well-deserved bronze medal in the Senior race, showcasing their resilience and finishing in the top three in a highly competitive field.
