Over the Summer, Aryan, Nathan, Anton and James (Year 13) designed and built a telescope for their Y12 Extended Project involving the Physics and DT departments. Last week, they put it to the test, by taking it with them to Astronomy Society, taking place in Richmond Park, where they admired the great views of Venus and the night sky. Despite the tough sub-zero temperatures, the trip was a success, with the group able to observe Jupiter and its four largest moons through the telescope.
