“Despite the tricky course, tracts of mud, and adverse weather, the Tiffin cross country team put in an incredible performance at the Charterhouse Cross country race on Saturday 12th October. It was amazing to see so many Tiffinians competing on this scenic course through the forest, and rewarded with a hearty match tea. All in all, everyone finished the race in good time and we even brought back a medal for the girl’s team! With several cross-country events upcoming in the next few weeks, this was an extremely promising start for Tiffin. Do contact myself or Andrew if you want to join in the fun.”

“A fantastic debut at the first inter-schools race of the season last Saturday at Charterhouse. Despite the torrential rain, the team familiarized themselves with the traumatic hills to come. Great efforts ensued, with Atharv coming in at 6th in the seniors, Dylan coming in at 8th in the juniors and Sophie coming in at 2nd, winning a medal in the senior girls category (much to her confusion). Strong finishes followed, with Luke putting up a real fight throughout the race alongside everyone else. A hard but fun race to start the season, faring extremely well against some of the fastest athletes in the South East despite some runners having only recently joined.”
