Our Tiffin ball boys and girls have had a fantastic fortnight at the Wimbledon Championships. These students have worked tirelessly since their selection by Wimbledon in the Spring, developing excellent skills of ball rolling and feeding, as well as demonstrating outstanding fitness levels and knowledge of tennis court play. The process for reaching the final stages of Wimbledon is very rigorous and highly competitive. Students are selected from over 30 schools in the local area and have an incredibly high benchmark that they are expected to reach. Our students experienced play on an array of courts over the last fortnight with many of them on Centre Court for the ladies’ and men’s finals! This is a brilliant achievement and they are all very deserving of such a celebrated accolade. Congratulations!
