Wider Opportunities
“Student s personal development is outstanding as a result of the exceptional range of wider opportunities on offer Ofsted Nov 2007.
The Ofsted inspection of November 2007 found the school to be outstanding in all areas. Central to this finding was the huge role that Wider Opportunities played in the development of the boys, both mentally and physically, at Tiffin involvement in activities that challenge, are fun, mirror life, provide social interaction, extend knowledge, provide leadership opportunities, help build self confidence, develop social skills through teamwork, provide health benefits and promote excellence will greatly enhance the qualities of the individuals involved. Those pupils that embrace all aspects of life at Tiffin are more often than not those pupils that go on to achieve their ambitions with confidence and ease.

Wider Opportunities is entering a new phase at Tiffin. There has always been a wide range of activities on offer for the pupils. However, we are now extending not only the number of clubs on offer, but also the involvement by staff and pupils alike. Every pupil at Tiffin should, at some point during the school year, be actively involved in a wider opportunity.
The benefits to pupils of being involved in Wider Opportunities are evident when you visit the school and see the type of student that leaves at the end of the Sixth Form.
