TBN The Tiffin Broadcasting Network
What is TBN?
The Tiffin Broadcasting Network is an exciting, new and highly relevant project that is starting up the coming school year.

Simply put, TBN is a profitable television broadcasting station, run entirely by students, that works alongside the school community supporting, sharing and improving the student experience. It aims to share the creativity, skills and accomplishments of Tiffin students both with other students, and with the wider community.
How does it work?
TBN programming is created, edited and produced by TBN employees normal students from the school. This is then broadcast to the entire school, put on DVDs and sold, or played through the school website. TBN is funded in a number of ways. Start up and first-year-operating costs are provided by our sponsors (The Jack Petchey Foundation, The BG Group, BAe, BP, David Stredder, David Robottom, Atkins and the TPA). Further funds are provided through sponsorship by external companies, DVD sales, and advertising.
Why?
TBN was created to provide a service to the Tiffin community. Students who are involved with the project gain access to the incredible resources, training and experience that TBN can offers, including training with the BBC, use of the extensive editing suite, and the experience of being part of a real business. Other members of Tiffin gain the ability to share their achievements with others, better access to interesting school events and productions, and the entertainment provided by TBN programming.
Get Involved!
Anyone can get involved with this fantastic opportunity. Whether you are interested in journalism, sport, politics, current affairs, IT, drama or music, TBN has a position for you. Even if you have just one amazing idea for a program, TBN can still help.
If you would like a position in TBN, you should contact the Station Manager Richard Evans.
Alternatively, if you have a fantastic idea for a program, short film or need details about existing features, contact the Production Department either Joseph Passingham or Krishan Neelendra
