U16 RugbyThe School has an excellent record for Sport. Former pupils include Alec Stewart, the former England Cricket captain and Rob Henderson, the Ireland and British Lions Rugby player.

The School runs twelve Rugby and eleven Cricket teams which play matches most weeks during their competitive seasons. Rowing is enthusiastically supported and the Boat Club enters a full programme of regattas, frequently gaining medals in national competitions.

We produce excellent Badminton, Basketball, Cross-country Running, Athletics and Tennis teams whilst most other sports are catered for during Curriculum PE and in an extensive inter-house sports programme.

Every boy has a games afternoon each week and from Years 7 to 11 PE lessons take place in our excellent Sports Hall.

Over the course of their school careers over 80% of the students will represent the School in a competitive sporting activity.
