Advance notice for Admission to year 7 in September 2011

Closing date for supplementary form to Tiffin School: 31st October 2010
Open Evening: Monday 11th October 2010 (5pm to 8pm)
Entrance tests: Thursday 6th January 2011

Open Evening 2009

The school Open Evening was held on Monday, 12th October 
for Year 7 and Sixth Form entry into the school September 2010.

The Head's Speech


Prospective parents and boys were welcomed to the school and taken on a conducted tour by our year 8 boys. During the tour there were opportunities to talk with staff and boys in each of the faculties about all aspects of school life. Coursework was on display and in some areas it was possible to watch demonstrations and even partake.

There were various performances in the Walden Hall, the Drama studio and the Dance studio and activities such as basketball and badminton were demonstrated in the Sports Hall.

There was full access to the Learning Resource Centre where staff  showed visitors the facilities available to the boys.

The Head addressed the visitors at intervals during the evening in the main hall. Additionally a  DVD of her speech was run on a continuous loop in various classrooms.

The Head of Sixth Form addressed visitors in the Judge Lecture Theatre to prospective students wishing to join in 2010. Providing useful information about our sixth form and offering the opportunity to discuss courses with subject staff and existing students
